BROOKE FREE
I am Brooke Free, a Master of Public Service and Administration student at Texas A&M University's Bush School of Government and Public Service. My graduate education has been largely centered around management with an emphasis on state and local policy analysis. During my second year, I had the privilege of working as a Graduate Research Assistant under two faculty members, gaining valuable research experience. Alongside my studies, I have been applying my skills in social media marketing for a health and wellness company, which has been a rewarding way to enhance my professional development. As I look ahead to graduation, I am excited about the prospect of contributing my knowledge and passion to make a positive difference in organizations.

I invite you to begin by exploring the about section, where you will find my biography, educational background, and personal leadership assessments. These elements offer a glimpse into my experiences, skills, and aspirations. The competency portfolio section showcases reflections on my experiences with seven key competencies: teamwork, leadership, communication, critical thinking, lifelong learning, quantitative analysis, and service. These reflections highlight how I have applied and honed my competencies through various academic and professional experiences. Lastly, I urge you to explore my capstone experience with the Texas City Manager's Association (Region 10), where I developed an emergency communication system for the Rio Grande Valley. This project showcases my capacity to tackle real-world challenges and create positive change in local communities.
